Booking conditions
Any booking made by telephone must be confirmed in writing (fax, letter, email) including the arrival and departure dates, the total number of nights, the type of room booked and the details of services required. It must be guaranteed by a credit card number or by a deposit representing 30% of the holiday. The Hotel du Lion systematically confirms bookings. Please bring the confirmation with you on arrival. Booking by telephone is not a guarantee and has no legal value.

The Hotel du Lion will guarantee the type of room, but no particular room or floor, e.g.: room 43 on the 3rd floor.

Arrival and departure times
Rooms are available between 2 and 3pm for check-in and must be vacated between 11am and midday for check-out. If you are arriving in the morning, please book your room for the previous day. If you are leaving after midday, we will invoice you an extra night and you must have vacated the room by 2pm. If you are arriving after 6pm, please let us now when you confirm your booking or on the arrival day before 6pm. Without this information, the Hotel du Lion reserves the right to release your room from 8pm and will invoice you the booked night.

Cancellation conditions
Any cancellation must be confirmed in writing and respect the following cancellation deadlines:
1/ 48 hours for any stay equal to or less than 5 nights.
2 / 72 hours for a stay over 5 nights.
3 / 7 days for bookings of more than 4 rooms.
If this deadline is passed, Hotel du Lion has the right to demand payment for the first night. If you do not turn up or you leave the hotel before the arranged date, the Hotel du Lion will collect part or all of the bill for your full stay.

Prices
The Hotel du Lion fixes its prices at the end of year n for year n+1 and all the holiday period rates, reserving the right for any modification during the year. It may also make changes to the holiday period rates.

Loyalty cards
The Hotel du Lion has loyalty cards. These must be duly completed at every stay. No card can be postdated if forgotten. You will receive a free night's stay (room only) during the holiday periods after having spent 12 nights over a period of 12 months starting from the first card validation.

Payment
Payment of invoices is on reception with the possiblity of a 30 day end-of-the-month schedule. Penalties applied in the case of a delay represent one and a half times the legal interest rate at the date the payment was due.

Tourist tax
Paid to help develop and promote tourism since 1st January 1994, this tax was imposed by Paris Town Hall. It is compulsory and is not always included in the room price. It must be paid as it is obligatory. Children under the age of 13 are exempt.

Breakfast
Served from 7am to 9.30am, we offer a continental breakfast buffet. It is possible to order room service breakfast at a supplemental cost. Breakfast is not included in the price of the room and is invoiced per person.

Extra beds
The Hotel du Lion has rooms for three people. For children under 12, an extra bed is free of charge. For children over 12, the bed is supplied at extra cost.

Valuable objects
The hotel is only responsible for objects placed in the hotel safe at reception. Our rooms are fitted with secure locks and some of our rooms have safes. If belongings are stolen without breaking and entering because of the guest (door not closed), the Hotel du Lion declines all responsibility.

Damage
Any damage caused by the guest will result in a claim for further payment. Furthermore, we add that only breakfast is allowed to be eaten in the room and it is strictly forbidden to cook in the rooms.
Ironing is not allowed in the rooms.
